These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Whodunnit Daily at whodunnitdaily.com ("the site", "we", "us"). By visiting the site or playing our puzzles you accept these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

1. The service

Whodunnit Daily publishes one free, browser-based logic deduction case per day, along with hint pages and step-by-step answer pages. No account, registration, or payment is required. The service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available". We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time without notice.

2. Permitted use

You may use the site for personal, non-commercial entertainment: playing the daily case, reading hints and solutions, and sharing links to our pages. Quoting short excerpts of a case with a link back to the source page is welcome.

3. Prohibited use

• Scraping, bulk-downloading, or republishing our puzzles, hints, or answer explanations in whole or substantial part.
• Interfering with the site's operation, probing for vulnerabilities, or bypassing technical protections.
• Generating automated or fraudulent traffic, including invalid clicks on advertisements shown on the site.
• Framing or mirroring the site, or implying an affiliation with us that does not exist.
• Any use that breaks applicable law.

4. Intellectual property

Every case — the scenarios, suspect statements, hints, and reasoning walkthroughs — plus all site text and design is our original work unless stated otherwise. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive licence to access and play this content in your browser. No other rights are transferred. Third-party trademarks mentioned anywhere on the site belong to their respective owners.

5. Third-party advertising

6. No warranty; limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site; where liability cannot be excluded entirely, it is limited to the amount you paid to use the service — which is zero.
